Our Love Story

It all began with a simple question: “Do you like boba?”

Like many modern romances, ours started in the DMs. Rob first made his presence known with a few heart eyes on Cedia’s story posts—subtle, but consistent. At the time, Cedia was in her final semester of college in Houston, fully focused on her goals. Rob, ever respectful (and patient), knew the timing wasn’t right just yet.

Fast forward to the summer of 2021—Cedia had graduated and moved back to Dallas to start her career. Somehow, Rob found out she was home, and he knew it was finally time to make his move. That’s when he sent the now-famous message: “Do you like boba?” Not your average DM, but it worked. Cedia responded, “Of course! Who doesn’t like boba?” And just like that, a first date was set.

They met outside a local boba shop, and what started as a casual meet-up quickly turned into something more. From that moment on, they were inseparable.

Three years fly by and its October 19, 2024—Robert had planned a special date at the Dallas Arboretum. As they posed for pictures in the garden, he led Cedia to a beautiful courtyard he had picked out ahead of time. There, with hearts racing, he dropped to one knee and asked the question that would change everything. Through happy tears, Cedia said “Yes!”Surrounded by friends and family, it still felt like it was just the two of them in that magical moment.

Now, we’re so excited to begin this next chapter together as The Future Hewitt's. Let the journey begin!

We are wanting all our guest to be in Formal or Semi-Formal attire in any shade of brown (Coffee, beige, nude, khaki, taupe, etc.) Only color we are not wanting guest to wear is Ivory or cream. Below are some attire examples:

We are having an “Unplugged Ceremony” this means that we are asking ALL phones and devices be put away and on silent during the ceremony. We have hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments of our day, and we would hate to have a well-meaning person’s phone blocking that moment for them to capture.

We kindly ask that you RSVP no later than November 1st, 2025. We must give our final guest count to our vendors in a timely manner, therefore if you have not submitted your RSVP by the deadline, you will be marked down as a “No” response.

To keep our celebration as intimate as possible, if not earlier discussed, only the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated.

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to find parking and your seat. Once the ceremony begins, no entrance will be granted.

As much as we love the kids, this is strictly an adults-only occasion. Consider this as a date-night on us!
